Welcome to SIMS

The School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) is a graduate program at the University of California, Berkeley. Drawing on expertise from a wide range of disciplines, the school's curriculum and research interests focus on the problem of information management. Major areas of study include information organization and retrieval, human-computer interaction and usability, design and implementation of information systems, and information policy and management.
