Description of the project

Many activities exist that require more than one person. It’s often difficult to find like-minded partners of similar ability levels. Current systems are often highly specialized or not geographically oriented, which makes the matching process less efficient and effective. We propose a system to facilitate matching people with similar interests and skills. Due to time constraints, we plan to initially focus entirely on the Berkeley campus community consisting of faculty, staff, and students. Our system will provide users with an interface for facilitating matching between individuals. The interface will contain different categories such as music, sports and leisure.
