Course Description
Three hours of lecture per week. Spatial and geographic information: georeferencing, projections, gazetteers, mapping and overlays of socio-economic, environmental and political data. Spatial database operations. Codes, formats, and standards for data representation and transfer. PrerequisitesIS 202 or consent of instructor.
